An important part of the writing process is to work with critique partners. I know everyone has their own way of doing this, but I’ve seen it done two ways.
1. You email pages to your group several days in advance, they use track changes and print out their suggestions. So if you exchange 10 pages and you have 4 people in your group, you’re printing off 40 pages.
2. You make a copy of your pages for every member of your group and you work on it together- still 40 pages. Do that once a week for a month and you’ve used 160 pages of printer paper. That adds up in a hurry!
